The database "Health in Portugal: Science and Technology Resources Database”, including its supporting website / web application (all together the "Database”), is owned and managed by the Health Cluster Portugal ("HCP”).

By using, accessing or publishing data in the Database, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below ("Terms and Conditions”). If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this Database.

HCP reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions in its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice.

The Database has three types of users:

As a Main User, a RD User or a Tech User you will have the right to access to your own reserved area, as well as to add, remove or modify information or material within this area. Besides the respective user, only HCP will have equal rights in fully accessing or editing information or material within each one of these reserved areas.

You may not use the Database to publish or distribute any information which is illegal, which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person or organization, which is abusive, which contains errors, viruses or other harmful components.

You will not use the Database in a manner that could damage or impair the Database, nor will you use the Database in a manner that could interfere with any other party’s use of the Database. 

HCP may at any time exercise editorial control over the content of any information or material that is submitted or published through the Database. 

Any questions about whether a particular use is authorized and any requests for permission to publish, reproduce, distribute, display or make derivative works from any content should be directed to HCP. 

By adding or uploading any content, information or material, you automatically grant (or warrant that the owner of such materials expressly granted) HCP the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform and display such content, information or material, in whatever form or medium.

Please note that the public disclosure of an invention prior to applying for patent protection can result in loss of the right to patent. 

You will be responsible for any content, information or material that you submit or publish through the Database, including in terms of correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness and reliability.

You will receive automated e-mails at regular periods inviting you to update all the above mentioned content, information or material. You must reply to this e-mail, with a simple Reply/Send. If you do not, HCP reserves the right to initiate inactive user procedures.

HCP aims to keep the Database available uninterruptedly and to maintain saved information. However, HCP does not make any warranty whatsoever that the operation of the Database will be uninterrupted or error-free, neither that no loss of information will ever occur.

Your rights to use the Database as set forth herein may be terminated by HCP without notice if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
