Short abstract and comments
A lead series of sugar-based antibacterial agents has been produced and preliminary studies of toxicity have been carried out. The antibacterial activity is bactericidal in nature, and the mechanism of action has been unraveled relying on the cytoplasmic membrane
Potential uses/indications
The potential uses are based on their application against microbial infection
