Short abstract and comments
Customized instrumented gloves for hand rehabilitation, including appropriate sensoring: Wireless glove for assessing thumb apposition associated with serious game application running on a mobile device. Wireless glove for hand rehabilitation instrumented with 14 sensors to track finger motion and an IMU to track hand orientation. The instrumented glove can interact with a virtual model that allows the monitoring of rehabilitation exercises at home, logging all the data during rehabilitation exercises into a remote database. The stored data can reproduce the recorded exercises to be further analyzed by the therapist in order to track patient’s history and condition. The application can run either on a Windows computer or on an Android device.
